The three key conditions for the world's largest hedge fund to invest in BTC have been revealed.
The investment research director of the world's largest hedging fund company recently elaborated on three key conditions required for the company to invest in Bitcoin during a media interview.
The primary condition is the reduction of Bitcoin's volatility. Currently, the volatility of Bitcoin is about 10 times that of the US dollar, and even twice that of the Venezuelan bolívar. The director emphasized that for Bitcoin to become a diversified investment tool, its stability must first be improved.
Secondly, Bitcoin needs to have stronger liquidity. The final point is the clarity of regulation. She pointed out that as the regulatory ecosystem around Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies improves, it will attract more types of investors to participate. This not only enhances liquidity but also reduces volatility. In her view, the certainty of regulation is the most noteworthy aspect, but it remains uncertain when the United States will establish a clear regulatory framework.
The director also stated that she does not believe Bitcoin is a currency, but over time, Bitcoin may evolve into the role of digital gold.
This global top-tier hedging fund was established in 1975 and currently manages assets exceeding $150 billion. Notably, the company's founder publicly praised Bitcoin last month as "an amazing invention" and stated that "it cannot escape our scrutiny." These remarks have attracted widespread attention in the industry, indicating a potential shift in the attitude of traditional financial giants towards cryptocurrencies.
